Call logging

Every call lands in the CRM. Nothing to type up later.

Nexicall captures duration, outcome and a note right after the conversation, on the device you actually call from. Most tools in this category are add-ons that write calls into someone else's CRM. Nexicall is the CRM.

How logging works

You dial from Nexicall. Before the call you get a briefing: the deal, the last three conversations, and what was left open. When you hang up, the log sheet opens — one tap for the outcome, a voice memo if you want one. Duration comes from the system in minutes and seconds, not estimated. The AI transcribes the memo, adds it to that contact's memory and proposes the next follow-up. What you're left with is a complete history you didn't spend your evening writing.

What it does — and what it doesn't

  • Outgoing calls from the app: the log sheet opens automatically when the call ends
  • Duration to the second (mm:ss), taken from the system rather than estimated
  • Speak instead of typing — the AI transcribes and summarises your memo
  • Full per-contact call history, in sync across iPhone, Android and web
  • Incoming calls: the log sheet appears only if Nexicall was in the foreground when the call ended. No app outside the phone dialler is permitted to bring itself to the front during an incoming cellular call — that's an iOS and Android limit, not a bug.
  • No call recording. Nexicall does not record conversations — it logs duration, outcome and your note.

The same log on all three devices

Nexicall runs on iPhone, Android and in the browser. A call you log on your phone between meetings is on your desk in the web app seconds later. The native app isn't a companion screen for a desktop CRM — it's the main place, because selling by phone happens away from a spreadsheet.

Common questions

Are calls logged automatically?
Outgoing calls you start from Nexicall, yes — the log sheet opens when you hang up, with the duration already filled in. For incoming calls it appears only if the app was in the foreground when the call ended.
Do I also need a CRM like Salesforce or HubSpot?
No. Nexicall is the CRM: contacts, deals, pipeline and call history live in one place. Tools that only capture calls assume you already run a second system; here there isn't one.
Does Nexicall record calls?
No. It captures duration, outcome and the note you dictate or type. There is no recording of the conversation itself.
