Salestrail alternative

Salestrail logs your calls into a CRM. Nexicall is the CRM.

Both capture calls on the phone you actually dial from. The difference is what happens next: Salestrail hands the call to a system you bought separately, and Nexicall keeps it beside the contact, the deal and the next follow-up, because that system is us.

What Salestrail is, fairly

Salestrail is a call-capture layer. It sits on the phone, records that a call happened, and writes it into Salesforce, HubSpot or whatever else you run — and it is good at that job, with more ways into more systems than we have. If you already own a CRM your team likes and your only gap is that mobile calls never reach it, Salestrail is a smaller, more targeted purchase than replacing the CRM. The catch is the assumption underneath it: that you are already paying for and running a second system. If you aren't, you now need two.

Partly means it exists with a limit worth knowing. Our offline mode is read-only and only in the phone apps, and an incoming call is only offered for logging if Nexicall was in the foreground when it ended.

Where Nexicall is the better choice

  • One system, one subscription — contacts, deals, call history and follow-ups are the same product
  • The note writes itself: dictate after the call and the AI files it against the contact and proposes when to call back
  • Two-way sync with your phone's address book, so the numbers you already have keep working
  • Contacts and calls you have already opened stay readable in a lift or a basement

Where Salestrail is the better choice

  • You already run Salesforce, HubSpot or Dynamics and are not going to move off it
  • You need call capture to feed a system we do not integrate with — they have the connectors, we do not
  • Call recording is a requirement; Nexicall does not record conversations at all

Which one you should actually pick

If you have a CRM and a mobile blind spot, buy Salestrail — it is the smaller change and it is built for exactly that. If you are selling by phone without a CRM, or the CRM you have is a desktop system nobody opens between calls, then adding a capture layer to it does not fix the underlying problem. That is the case Nexicall is built for.

Common questions

Is Nexicall a Salestrail competitor or a replacement?
A replacement for the pair. Salestrail plus a CRM is two products; Nexicall is one. If you keep your CRM, Salestrail is the better fit.
Does Nexicall record calls like Salestrail can?
No. Nexicall stores duration, outcome and the note you dictate or type — never the conversation itself. If recording is a requirement, we are not the tool.
Can I import what is already in my CRM?
Contacts, from a file, in the web app. There is no automatic migration from Salestrail or from the CRM behind it.
