Pipedrive alternative

Pipedrive is built around the pipeline. Nexicall is built around the call.

Pipedrive is a good pipeline. If your day is deals moving through stages on a laptop, it will serve you well. Nexicall is for the other day — the one spent on the phone, where the work is the conversation and the pipeline is what happens as a result.

What Pipedrive is, fairly

Pipedrive is a mature, well-built sales CRM with a visual pipeline, a large marketplace of integrations, custom fields, workflow automation and reporting that has had years of work put into it. Its mobile app is a competent companion to the web app. That order matters and it is the honest difference between the two products: Pipedrive is a desktop CRM you can also use on a phone, and Nexicall is a phone CRM you can also use at a desk. Neither sentence is an insult. They are different products for different days.

Partly means it exists with a limit worth knowing. Our offline mode is read-only and only in the phone apps, and an incoming call is only offered for logging if Nexicall was in the foreground when it ended.

Pipedrive’s mobile apps support offline changes to deals, notes and activities, then sync when the connection returns. Nexicall’s offline access is read-only, so Pipedrive is the stronger fit if editing without a connection is essential.

Where Nexicall is the better choice

  • The call is the unit of work: dial from the app, get a briefing first, log the outcome the moment you hang up
  • Duration comes from the system in minutes and seconds rather than being typed in afterwards
  • Dictate the note; the AI writes it up, files it against the contact and proposes the next follow-up
  • Two-way sync with the address book on your phone, including several numbers per contact

Where Pipedrive is the better choice

  • You need custom fields, custom objects or workflow automation — we have none of that
  • Your stack has to connect to things: Pipedrive's marketplace is enormous and ours does not exist yet
  • Your reporting is the point of the CRM. Theirs is deeper, more configurable and more mature than ours

Try the workflow

Try Nexicall with your next call

Use a contact you know to evaluate the work before and after a call. This is the current Nexicall web app with demo data.

  1. Open the contact and find the context you need before calling.
  2. After the call, capture a note and review what the AI proposes.
  3. Check that the next follow-up is clear before moving on.

Which one you should actually pick

Pick Pipedrive if the CRM is where your process lives — stages you designed, fields you defined, reports the team runs on Monday. Pick Nexicall if the CRM is where your calls should live and every tool you have tried so far has assumed you were sitting down. If you are a small team selling by phone and you have been fighting a desktop CRM on a small screen, that fight is the entire reason this product exists.

Common questions

Can Nexicall replace Pipedrive outright?
For a phone-led sales team, yes — contacts, deals, pipeline, history and follow-ups are all here. If you depend on custom fields, automations or the integration marketplace, no. Those are real gaps, not roadmap coyness.
Can I move my Pipedrive data across?
Contacts and deals, yes — export from Pipedrive to a file and the web app's import wizard maps the columns and stages for you, so an existing pipeline comes across rather than being retyped. Historical activity — old calls, notes and emails — does not migrate.
Does Nexicall have a pipeline like Pipedrive's?
Yes — deals, stages and values, on all three clients. It is deliberately simpler: no custom objects, no automation builder.
